With the adoption of a revised constitution this year, the new board will take on a term of four years, from 2022 to 2026.
Dr Teo-Koh Sock Miang, SDSC Vice President from 2016-2020 and SDSC President from 2014-2016 and 2020-2022, was re-elected to serve a second consecutive term as President. “I am humbled to be elected a second consecutive term, and given an opportunity to continue advocating for our para athletes and Singapore’s para sport vision. I am delighted with the composition of our new board, which gives us a strong alliance of social service agencies, para sports organisations and professionals. This alliance stands behind SDSC with a shared goal to transform the lives of persons with disabilities through sport. The newly elected Board is committed to continue developing SDSC’s programmes, initiatives, resources and partnerships to achieve SDSC’s vision and mission,” said Dr Teo-Koh.

An experienced finance and operations director, she previously served on the SDSC board as Assistant Treasurer in 2019 and 2020 before becoming the Honorary Treasurer from 2020 to 2022.
