Art Competition for 5 to 10-year-olds

3 December is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. To raise awareness about the day, the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) is organising a children’s art competition.

Open to children aged 5 to 10, participants are encouraged to create a 2-D artwork (e.g. painting, drawing) about their favourite para-sport or para-athlete. There are no restrictions on the medium of the artwork, but the artwork has to be 2-D.

Each submission should be accompanied by a short (not more than 50 words) paragraph to state reasons for the choice of sport or athlete.

20 winners and their families (up to a maximum of 2 pax) will be invited to a free lunch party at Swensen’s, complete with games, on 30 November. The event is kindly sponsored by Haw Par Corporation and supported by Agitos Foundation.
